Impressed at an early age with the custom houses his father built for discerning clients, Michael developed an eye for construction quality, appropriate form and well-proportioned room scale. Throughout his life Michael has built and remodeled numerous personal homes in varied architectural styles throughout the U.S., fine tuning and expanding his portfolio of materials and finishes.

Michael graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in Fine Arts. In 1986 he started a design company servicing the greater Boston, Massachusetts area. In 1992, with 20 years in interior design and space planning, he began Park Hill Interiors in San Francisco. His work with clients includes designing rooms ranging from Traditional, Transitional, Country or Modern, to Contemporary—all with an exciting twist.
